There are a few buses you can take in Monaco at a cost of €2 per person if you pay the driver or €1.50 if you bought your ticket from the machine. Use bus stop “Place des Armes” as a base this is at the foot of the Palace and across from the Port. Bus number 2 would take you up to the Palace and into town. Bus number 3 would take you to Fontvieille which is on the other side of the Palace and another beautiful Port. Bus number 5 would take you to Larvotto Beach. Hope this helps.

We are cruising here in July this year and would like to take the bus to Nice just for the ride along the coast. Is there a timetable for this and a map of the stops in Monte Carlo. We would do the trip as soon as we can get off the ship which docks at 8 am and then explore Monte Carlo after the bus trip.

I would also have a drink at the Hotel de Paris and try and eat lunch at Joel Robuchon's restaurant Need to make your lunch reservation well in advance.
