A week after experiencing widespread network issues, thousands of users are reporting trouble with Verizon’s cell phone services, according to the website Downdetector.com. The reports started coming into the site just before 8 a.

Users can tell when their iPhone is in SOS mode because the bars in the top right corner of their screen will disappear and be replaced with “SOS.”

Verizon customers across the United States experienced widespread outages Monday, with users reporting an inability to make calls or use the internet.
