Pop legends Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, and others lit up the stage with iconic performances during the star-studded 50th anniversary celebration of the American Music Awards on October 6.

Jennifer Hudson honored the late Whitney Houston by singing "I Will Always Love You," while Brad Paisley paid tribute to the late Charley Pride with a performance of "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" and his new single "Truck Still Works."

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the music artists who will be presenting and performing at the American Music Awards' 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday, Oct. 6, which is being held in place of the annual award ceremony in honor of the milestone year.

The evening will celebrate half a century of groundbreaking music, iconic moments, unforgettable performances and rich pop-culture history.
