Hendrick Motorsports vice chairman Jeff Gordon addressed the disqualification penalty handed to its No. 48 team after Charlotte's Roval race.

Jeff Gordon, Vice Chairman of Hendrick Motorsports, says the championship-winning organization is embarrassed and disappointed about Alex Bowman failing post-race inspection following Sunday's event at the Charlotte ROVAL.

Hendrick Motorsports chose not to appeal the penalty. “We looked at all the facts, and we didn’t feel like there’s really anything that we felt comfortable appealing and we’re going to move on,” Gordon said.
