The Cincinnati Bengals made a rather large mistake by not getting Ja’Marr Chase’s contract extension done this past summer. By not getting it done during a process in which Chase felt he was misled, the Bengals risked the asking price jumping dramatically next summer when the deal inevitably gets done.
