Michael Jordan of 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports owner Bob Jenkins made a show of solidarity as the NASCAR race in Alabama over the weekend.

23XI Racing, the Huntersville-based team Jordan co-owns with longtime driver Denny Hamlin, joined Front Row Motorsports to argue that the sport’s sanctioning body — led by CEO Jim France — has enriched itself through “unchecked monopolistic practices.”

Jordan told The Athletic, "I wouldn't have filed it if I didn't think I could win." His comments were made during Sunday's race at Talladega Superspeedway. The lawsuit alleges that NASCAR operates as a monopoly and utilizes "anticompetitive and exclusionary practices" to "enrich themselves at the expense of the premier stock car racing teams.
